What We Believe

Children learn best when they feel safe, connected and free to explore.

Our play-based approach is informed by the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework and Oregon’s Early Learning and Kindergarten Guidelines. Through child-led exploration, intentional teaching and age-appropriate STEAM experiences, Explorers build communication, confidence, creativity and problem-solving skills.

Our Crew develops meaningful relationships with Explorers and works closely with Families to understand each child’s strengths, interests and individual needs.

About our Junction City Location

Situated in Junction City, our center is easy to access via major roads (Route 99W) and public transport - we have many bus stops within walking distance of our center - making it convenient for parents to access during their commute between work and home.

Since our start in 2007, we have worked incredibly hard to create the best possible child care service in Junction City and surrounding Lane, Linn and Benton Counties. Since opening our center, our team has worked continuously to improve our facility and ensure that we are always following the latest and most up-to-date industry practices.

Our team is here to help your child master the necessary life skills and self-confidence that will help them enter further education with ease and confidence.

Care for Working Families

Open Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with snacks and school-age wraparound care available in Junction City.

Partnership With Families

Family events, parent resources and our Co-Pilots advisory group help families stay connected and supported.

Inclusion Is the Foundation

Our Crew collaborates with speech therapists, occupational therapists and other allied health professionals when appropriate. Some Crew members also communicate in American Sign Language or Spanish, with availability varying by location and staffing.

Play With a Purpose

Our play-based approach is informed by recognized early learning and development frameworks. Through child-led exploration, intentional teaching and age-appropriate STEAM experiences, Explorers build confidence, curiosity, communication and problem-solving skills.

Learning Beyond the Classroom

Community visitors, including musicians, veterinarians and wildlife rescuers, bring real-world learning to life.

Ready for Kindergarten

Our Navigators program builds the academic, social and emotional skills children need for a confident start to school.

Our newest location is situated inside the beautifully repurposed Clear Lake Elementary School.

This distinctive setting brings child care and community together under one roof, giving Explorers access to a full gymnasium, multiple indoor community spaces and expansive outdoor areas.

Safety And Communication

Daily cleaning procedures help us maintain healthy learning environments.

We also include handwashing, personal care and respect for shared spaces in each Explorer’s routine, helping healthy habits become second nature.

Access to our centers is limited to authorized Crew members and approved adults.

Visitors follow established sign-in, identification and supervision procedures to help maintain a secure environment.

Families receive regular updates about meals, naps, activities and special moments throughout the day.

Our communication tools help you stay connected to your Explorer’s experiences, even when you cannot be there.

Our Crew receives training to care for children with a wide range of strengths and developmental needs.
