Full Time Vs Part Time Care
Choosing the right early childhood program is one of the most important decisions you’ll make as a parent.
We have created this useful guide to help provide you all the info you need on making this decision.

Our Approach: Play-Based Learning With A Purpose
Children learn best when they are active participants in their own discoveries.
Our play-based approach is informed by the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework and Oregon’s Early Learning and Kindergarten Guidelines. The Crew builds on these frameworks through hands-on, child-led experiences suited to each Explorer’s development, interests and individual needs.
Explorers also take part in age-appropriate STEAM experiences that encourage them to build, investigate, create and solve problems.

We incorporate Oregon State University’s Red Light, Purple Light self-regulation program through playful music and movement activities. These experiences help Explorers practice listening, remembering instructions, managing impulses and working with others.
For School Age Scholars, activities build on children’s school experiences through homework support, creative projects, STEAM challenges, movement and enrichment.
